About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex ICT projects within a large federal government program. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution — from planning and resourcing through to delivery — ensuring technical outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
This role is ideal for a PM with strong technical understanding, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record delivering large-scale technology projects in Agile or hybrid environments.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver ICT projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.

  • Lead cross-functional teams (developers, testers, architects, vendors) to achieve project milestones.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and track delivery progress.

  • Prepare project documentation including schedules, status reports, risk registers, and governance packs.

  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executives.

  • Ensure compliance with government standards, security requirements, and change management processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in ICT delivery environments.

  • Proven track record delivering technical projects (infrastructure, integration, CRM, or digital platforms).

  • Strong knowledge of Agile and/or PRINCE2 project management methodologies.

  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to present to executives.

  • Strong risk, issue, and dependency management skills.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.


Desirable (Nice to Have)

  • Technical background (developer, engineer, or business analyst) prior to PM role.

  • Experience in federal government or highly regulated environments.

  • Knowledge of Siebel CRM, Salesforce, MuleSoft, or other enterprise platforms.

  • Relevant certifications (Agile/Scrum Master, PRINCE2, PMP).


Clearance

Baseline clearance required (NV1 preferred).
