About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex ICT projects within a large federal government program. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution — from planning and resourcing through to delivery — ensuring technical outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
This role is ideal for a PM with strong technical understanding, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record delivering large-scale technology projects in Agile or hybrid environments.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver ICT projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams (developers, testers, architects, vendors) to achieve project milestones.
Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and track delivery progress.
Prepare project documentation including schedules, status reports, risk registers, and governance packs.
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and executives.
Ensure compliance with government standards, security requirements, and change management processes.
Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in ICT delivery environments.
Proven track record delivering technical projects (infrastructure, integration, CRM, or digital platforms).
Strong knowledge of Agile and/or PRINCE2 project management methodologies.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to present to executives.
Strong risk, issue, and dependency management skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.
Desirable (Nice to Have)
Technical background (developer, engineer, or business analyst) prior to PM role.
Experience in federal government or highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of Siebel CRM, Salesforce, MuleSoft, or other enterprise platforms.
Relevant certifications (Agile/Scrum Master, PRINCE2, PMP).
Clearance
Baseline clearance required (NV1 preferred).
