About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Siebel Open UI Developer to join a major federal government transformation program. In this role, you’ll design and implement custom Siebel Open UI solutions, enhance user experience, and integrate modern front-end components with Siebel’s presentation model (PM) and physical renderer (PR).

You’ll work closely with business analysts, testers, and solution architects to deliver accessible, performant, and maintainable enhancements to a critical CRM platform used across government.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in Siebel Open UI configuration and customisation.

  • Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 skills, including DOM manipulation and debugging.

  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).

  • Experience with RESTful web services and JSON data handling.

  • Hands-on experience with Git (branching, merging, pull requests).

  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and ARIA roles.

  • Experience with Siebel Tools, Workflow, and Business Services.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customise Siebel Open UI PM/PR components to meet business requirements.

  • Build responsive, accessible UI components using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Integrate with REST APIs, ElasticSearch, and other external systems.

  • Collaborate with UX teams to implement WCAG-compliant layouts and interactions.

  • Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

  • Write and maintain technical documentation for delivered solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects in Siebel Open UI implementations.

  • Work with CI/CD pipelines for build, deployment, and test automation.
