Software Engineers also known as Senior Developers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
An Oracle Developer designs, develops, and maintains applications and databases using Oracle technologies. They are responsible for writing efficient SQL queries, creating stored procedures, optimising database performance, and ensuring data integrity and security. This role often involves collaborating with business analysts, application developers, and system administrators to deliver robust, scalable database solutions.

Key duties and responsibilities
Duties may include some or all of the following:
Perform and manage analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities.
Solve complex problems and deliver high quality solutions.
Perform high-level analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions.
Undertake technical design and development of complex custom solutions, and/or standard conversion and migration solutions.
Manage the release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance.
Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter expert, and provide assistance and mentorship to less experienced staff
Technical skills
• Experience in the following Oracle Technologies: o Oracle PL/SQL o SmartIQ (Infinity/Intelledox) o Unix tools (Korn Shell scripts, AWK) o Oracle Application Express (APEX) o Oracle Forms and Reporting • Working experience with Geospatial data
