About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join a large federal government program delivering secure, scalable CRM solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Salesforce components, integrations, and workflows to support key business processes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working collaboratively with business analysts and architects, and delivering high-quality, well-documented code.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.

  • Configure and customise Salesforce objects, page layouts, record types, and validation rules.

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and platform events.

  • Optimise performance and implement best practices for scalable solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer.

  • Proficiency with Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.

  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar).

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce DX).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and ability to work in an Agile team environment.


Desirable (Nice to Have)

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.

  • Experience with Government or highly regulated environments.

  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar).


Clearance

Baseline clearance required (NV1 preferred).
