About the Role
Software Engineers also known as Development Experts have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
The OpenText Exstream / StreamServe Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement and support of enterprise correspondence and customer communication solutions. The role contributes to the delivery of secure, accessible and high-quality outbound communications across print and digital channels, supporting critical business and legislative outcomes.
Requirements
Key duties and responsibilities
Duties may include some or all of the following:
Design, develop, configure, and maintain customer correspondence solutions using OpenText Exstream and/or StreamServe.
Translate business and legislative requirements into structured document designs.
Develop and maintain reusable components, scripts, and rules.
Integrate document solutions with enterprise systems and output services.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data, formatting, and performance.
Support testing activities including unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
Contribute to release management and deployment activities.
Maintain technical documentation and design artefacts.
Ensure compliance with APS security, privacy, and accessibility requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
Technical skills
• Programming languages- JCL, JAVA, .NET, Compuset, M204 User Language • Proficiency in Open Text Exstream/StreamServe software, including document design, content authoring, business content authoring • Essential experience with document generation, templates, variable data printing • 3-5 yrs experience in OpenText Exstream/Streamserve, including complex data section driven tables, data mapping for file types- XML, Delimited files, Columnar files, JSON for Driver, reference files, and reports
